AWS Transfer Family SFTP Connectors now support continuing file transfers during credential rotation without manual intervention or failed transfers.

  • Retrieve credentials from ordered list of AWS Secrets Manager version stages during authentication
  • Automatically try each credential version in specified order until one succeeds
  • Transfers continue uninterrupted as credentials rotate on either side
  • Configure when creating or updating a connector with credentials stored in Secrets Manager
  • Available in all AWS Regions supporting AWS Transfer Family SFTP Connectors

This eliminates manual connector updates during credential rotation and prevents transfer failures during the rotation window.
