AWS Elemental Inference now generates contextual metadata from live video in real time

News

AWS Elemental Inference now generates contextual metadata from live video streams in real time using AI, without requiring custom machine learning infrastructure.

  • Analyzes live video in parallel with encoding to extract IAB taxonomy categories and GARM brand suitability signals
  • Detects objects, actions, and generates shot and scene-level descriptions automatically
  • Embeds metadata into SCTE-35 ad markers for context-aware ad decisioning at each ad break
  • Enables automatic structured metadata generation for media asset enrichment and content discovery
  • Available in AWS Elemental MediaLive console across all AWS Regions where Elemental Inference is supported

Broadcasters and content platforms can now power contextual advertising, media asset management, and personalized recommendations using serverless, fully managed AI without custom integration work.
