AWS Glue zero-ETL adds target table property ownership and conflict detection
News
AWS Glue zero-ETL integrations now detect table property conflicts and track integration ownership across catalogs.
- Glue associates table properties with owning integration to prevent multiple integrations targeting the same table
- Two integrations cannot point to the same target table without explicit knowledge and control
- Works across Amazon S3 Tables and SageMaker Lakehouse catalogs
- Guides users to choose different targets or update existing integrations when conflicts detected
- Keeps data pipelines isolated and ensures data lands in intended locations
- Available in all AWS Commercial and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions
This feature provides data teams with predictable control over zero-ETL integration targets and prevents accidental data conflicts.
