This article announces general availability of Amazon Route 53 Resolver DNS Firewall support for Palo Alto Networks Advanced DNS Security across 32 AWS Regions.

  • Detect and block malicious DNS traffic directly from VPCs without separate firewalls
  • Enforce DNS threat protections including Command and Control, Malware, and Phishing
  • Share licenses across organization accounts via AWS License Manager
  • Associate DNS Firewall rule groups with VPCs using AWS Resource Access Manager or Firewall Manager
  • Available in all AWS Regions where DNS Firewall is offered

Security teams can now integrate Palo Alto Networks DNS security directly into Route 53 DNS Firewall for comprehensive threat protection.
