Scope workloads and share resilience policies with AWS Resilience Hub

Architecture Blog

This article describes three new capabilities in AWS Resilience Hub's next generation to help teams keep workload scope and resilience requirements aligned with their running environment.

  • Amazon EKS label support enables selecting Kubernetes resources using existing labels to distinguish workloads in shared namespaces
  • Generative AI-powered Dependency Insights analyzes discovered dependencies and highlights patterns like cross-Region calls and third-party integrations for review
  • Resilience policy sharing through AWS Organizations lets central teams define requirements once and share them across member accounts
  • Services are the primary assessment unit; teams can scope resources, review dependencies, and apply shared policies using console or AWS CLI
  • Dependency discovery analyzes DNS activity without requiring agents; insights prioritize investigation by filtering common patterns
  • Policy owners can track adoption through attachment and detachment events across the organization

These capabilities work together or independently to help teams validate recovery requirements, maintain centralized resilience standards, and focus architectural reviews on meaningful findings.
