This article announces that Amazon RDS Custom for SQL Server now supports the latest Cumulative Updates (CU) and General Distribution Release (GDR) updates for Microsoft SQL Server.
- SQL Server 2019 CU32+GDR (KB5122772, RDS version 15.00.4490.9.v1) now supported
- SQL Server 2022 CU26+GDR (KB5122768, RDS version 16.00.4275.2.v1) now supported
- Upgrade instances via RDS Management Console, AWS SDK, or CLI
- Includes improvements and fixes from Microsoft's latest updates
RDS Custom for SQL Server users can now apply the latest recommended security and performance updates to their database instances.
