Amazon Managed Grafana now supports in-place upgrade from version 12.4 to 13.2, introducing new features from open-source Grafana versions 13.0-13.2.
- Git Sync enables treating dashboards as code with version control tracking and review capabilities
- Dynamic dashboards provide responsive, condition-driven layouts that adapt to data and variables
- PromQL query support added to CloudWatch data source plugin for querying OTLP metrics
- In-place upgrades available in all AWS regions where Amazon Managed Grafana is generally available
- Upgrade via AWS Console, SDK, or CLI with just a few clicks
The upgrade brings enhanced dashboard management, flexibility, and query capabilities to Amazon Managed Grafana users.
