This article announces the availability of MySQL 26.7 in the Amazon RDS Database Preview Environment for pre-release testing.
- MySQL 26.7 is the first Innovation release using the new YY.M (Year.Month) versioning model
- Includes bug fixes, security patches, and new features like Change Stream Applier for improved replication
- Preview instances are retained for maximum 60 days and automatically deleted after retention period
- Snapshots created in Preview Environment can only be used within the Preview Environment
- Preview instances priced according to US East (Ohio) Region rates
Developers can now evaluate MySQL 26.7 features on Amazon RDS before general availability.
