AWS Health introduces the version catalog, a centralized source of lifecycle information for software versions across AWS services to enable proactive version management.
- Provides service-wide view of supported versions and their timelines
- Helps customers move from reactive to proactive version upgrade management
- Available in AWS Health Dashboard for all users; API access for Business Support Plus, Enterprise Support, or Unified Operations customers
- Covers Amazon RDS, Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda at launch with more services coming
- Available across all AWS Commercial Regions
The version catalog enables customers to build upgrade schedules and governance controls before receiving account-specific end-of-support notifications.
