API Gateway offers private integrations with AWS ELB and AWS CloudMap as part of HTTP APIs GA release

Amazon API Gateway has announced the general availability of HTTP APIs, offering several key improvements over traditional REST APIs:
- Up to 71% cost savings and 60% latency reduction
- New private integration capabilities with AWS services
- Route requests to private AWS Elastic Load Balancers (ALB and NLB)
- Support for IP-based services registered in AWS CloudMap
- Ability to use the same custom domain across REST and HTTP APIs
- Granular route throttling
- Improved Lambda backend integration and error logging
The new HTTP APIs provide customers with a more cost-effective and performant API gateway solution, with enhanced integration capabilities for private and serverless applications.
