AWS CloudHSM has been certified for Payment Card Industry Personal Identification Number (PCI PIN) version 3.1, providing enhanced security and compliance capabilities for regulated workloads.

<li>Certified by Coalfire, a third-party Qualified Security Assessor (QSA)</li>
<li>Offers FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified hardware security modules (HSMs)</li>
<li>Provides single-tenant HSM instances in customer's own VPC</li>
<li>Reduces compliance overhead for regulated workloads</li>
<li>Customers can access the PCI PIN Attestation of Compliance (AOC) report through AWS Artifact</li>
</ul>
<p>
For direct payment operations, AWS recommends using AWS Payment Cryptography as a fully managed alternative for PCI-PIN compliance.
