News
Amazon CloudFront has expanded the capabilities of CloudFront Functions to support HTTP status and response generation at edge locations.
- Developers can now modify HTTP response status codes and bodies directly at the edge
- Functions can override responses from origin servers or cache
- Enables scenarios like blocking requests by changing status codes
- Allows generating custom webpages for each request
- Operates across 450+ global CloudFront edge locations
- No additional fees for using this new functionality
This enhancement provides more flexibility for developers to customize and control HTTP responses at the network edge without additional infrastructure.
