Cross-region failover now available in AWS Elemental MediaPackage

This article announces the availability of cross-region failover for AWS Elemental MediaPackage, allowing content delivery networks (CDNs) to transparently failover between multiple MediaPackage Live origins in different AWS regions.

- The new capability uses CMAF Ingest (Interface-1) and force-endpoint error configuration to enable CDN failover to a backup origin in case of stale or incomplete primary stream.
