Amazon Polly has launched seven new synthetic generative voices across multiple languages, expanding its text-to-speech capabilities.
- Two new female voices added: Indian English Kajal and Italian Bianca
- Five new male voices: US Spanish Pedro, Mexican Spanish Andrés, European Spanish Sergio, German Daniel, and French Rémi
- New voices bring Polly Generative engine to a total of twenty voices
- Unique feature: Five male voices share the same voice identity as US English voice Matthew
- Enables accent-less language switching across multiple languages
- Available in US East (North Virginia), Europe (Frankfurt), and US West (Oregon) regions
The launch enhances Amazon Polly's global text-to-speech capabilities, offering more diverse and flexible voice options for businesses.
