Amazon Bedrock Flows is now generally available with enhanced safety and traceability

Amazon Bedrock Flows is now generally available, offering a powerful tool for building generative AI workflows without coding. The key announcement includes two major enhancements:

  • Enhanced Safety: Ability to filter harmful content using Amazon Bedrock Guardrails in Prompt and Knowledge Base nodes
  • Enhanced Traceability: Comprehensive workflow execution visibility with detailed input/output tracking and inline validations

Key benefits include:

  • Simplified workflow development with visual interface
  • Seamless integration of foundation models and AWS services
  • Flexible workflow design based on business logic
  • Reduced time for testing and deploying AI workflows

Starting February 1st 2025, there will be a charge of $0.035 per 1000 node transitions. The service is now available in most Amazon Bedrock regions.
