Long-running execution flows now supported in Amazon Bedrock Flows in public preview

AWS has announced the public preview of long-running execution flows in Amazon Bedrock Flows, enabling users to create complex generative AI workflows that can run up to 24 hours asynchronously.
- Extends workflow execution time from 5 minutes to 24 hours
- Supports processing large datasets and complex multi-step AI workflows
- Provides built-in execution tracing through AWS Management Console and Bedrock Flow API
- Allows decoupling of workflow execution from immediate user interaction
- Demonstrated through a use case from Dentsu converting books for accessibility
This feature enables developers to build more sophisticated generative AI applications with longer processing times and complex workflow requirements.
