- Users can now ask specific questions about data found in tables within PDFs, Word files, HTML pages, Excel, CSV, and SmartSheet documents
- Examples include finding credit cards with lowest APR or specific features like travel insurance
- Answers can be returned as tables, lists, or text narratives depending on context
- The feature is out-of-the-box and requires no additional setup from admins or users
- Available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Q Business is supported
This update significantly improves Amazon Q Business's ability to provide precise, data-driven answers from structured information within enterprise documents.
