AWS has launched the Savings Plans Purchase Analyzer, a new tool in the AWS Billing and Cost Management Console that helps users optimize cloud spending and make more informed Savings Plans purchases.
- Allows users to model Savings Plans purchases with custom parameters
- Enables selection of custom lookback periods up to 60 days
- Provides option to exclude expiring Savings Plans from analysis
- Allows manual input of commitment amounts or use recommended amounts
- Offers visual graphs showing potential cost, coverage, and utilization impacts
The tool helps users make faster, more flexible decisions about Savings Plans purchases by providing detailed simulations and recommendations tailored to individual cloud usage patterns.
