AWS has launched a public preview of an enhanced Pricing Calculator with new features designed to help users make more informed financial decisions for cloud infrastructure.
- Provides accurate cost estimates incorporating eligible discounts
- Enables estimation of cost impacts from commitment purchases
- Supports importing historical usage or creating new usage estimates
- Allows importing and sharing existing estimates with other AWS console users
- Introduces a new public cost estimations API
- Available in all AWS commercial regions (excluding China)
The enhanced Pricing Calculator helps users confidently assess cost impacts, understand ROI for workload migrations, and plan for future cloud infrastructure investments.
