AWS Lake Formation has introduced named LF-Tag expressions, a new feature that enhances data access management and permission complexity.
- Allows creation and management of named combinations of LF-Tags
- Enables more complex permission expressions for business requirements
- Simplifies granting the same LF-Tag combination to multiple users
- Provides easier management of LF-Tag ontology changes
- Generally available in commercial AWS Regions and AWS GovCloud (US)
This feature allows organizations to create more flexible and manageable data access controls in AWS Lake Formation, reducing administrative overhead when defining complex permission sets.
