Amazon Connect has introduced a new feature that allows contact center agents to self-assign tasks directly from their workspace or contact control panel.
- Agents can now create and assign tasks to themselves with a simple checkbox
- Enables scheduling of follow-up actions at a preferred time
- Supports task prioritization, assignment, and tracking
- Available in all AWS regions where Amazon Connect is offered
- Aims to improve agent productivity and customer issue resolution
This update enhances Amazon Connect's task management capabilities, giving agents more flexibility in managing customer interactions and follow-ups.
