Amazon Connect has introduced a new feature for individual agent scheduling, providing enhanced workforce management capabilities.

  • Allows scheduling of new agents without disrupting existing team schedules
  • Enables managers to create schedules for new agents and automatically merge them with existing schedules
  • Eliminates manual workarounds like copying schedules or regenerating entire business unit schedules
  • Improves operational efficiency and manager productivity
  • Available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Connect agent scheduling is supported

This update provides contact centers with more flexibility in managing agent schedules, particularly during team expansions or onboarding processes.
