News

AWS AppConfig has enhanced its feature flag and configuration change management with support for third-party application performance monitoring (APM) solutions to trigger automatic rollbacks.

  • Previously limited to Amazon CloudWatch, customers can now connect to any API-enabled APM
  • Provides safety guardrails against unexpected downtime or performance degradation
  • Enables automatic rollback when monitors detect issues during feature flag or configuration updates
  • Automated remediation can be faster than manual human intervention
  • Available in all AWS Regions, including AWS GovCloud (US)
