AWS Billing and Cost Management Data Exports for FOCUS 1.0 is now generally available

AWS has announced the general availability of Data Exports for FOCUS 1.0, an open-source cloud cost and usage specification that standardizes cloud financial management.
- Provides cost and usage data exports to Amazon S3
- Introduces four standardized cost columns: ListCost, ContractedCost, BilledCost, and EffectiveCost
- Offers consistent treatment of discounts and Savings Plans/Reserved Instances amortization
- Available in US East (N. Virginia) Region, covering costs from all AWS Regions except GovCloud and China
- Enables reliable cost data referencing across different sources
Users can create a new export named "FOCUS 1.0 with AWS columns" in the AWS Billing and Cost Management console to leverage this standardized cost management tool.
