John Snow Labs Medical LLMs are now available in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart

John Snow Labs has launched its Medical Large Language Models (Medical LLM – Small and Medical LLM – Medium) on Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, offering advanced medical language understanding capabilities.

• Models can summarize clinical encounters and answer questions about medical notes and research
• In blind evaluations, Medical LLM – Small outperformed GPT-4o in medical text tasks
• Supports a 32,000 token context window (approximately 50 pages of text)
• Deployable on commodity hardware with state-of-the-art accuracy
• Available through AWS Marketplace and easily accessible in SageMaker Studio

The models are designed to help medical professionals quickly understand patient notes, improve decision-making, and process large volumes of medical documentation efficiently.
