Amazon Q Apps now supports private sharing, a new feature that allows app creators to control app access within Amazon Q Business more precisely.

  • App creators can now share apps with select Amazon Q Business users
  • Apps can be restricted to specific individuals or teams
  • Enables more targeted collaboration and controlled app distribution
  • Examples include company-wide document generation or sales-team-only customer outreach apps
  • Allows app creators to gather early feedback from a small user group

The feature is available in all regions where Amazon Q Business is currently deployed, providing organizations with more flexible and secure app sharing capabilities.
