AWS has announced Transfer Family web apps, a new feature that enables browser-based file transfer and access to Amazon S3 data.
- Provides a fully managed, secure web portal for data browsing, uploading, and downloading
- Supports file transfers over SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2 protocols
- Integrated with AWS IAM Identity Center and S3 Access Grants for fine-grained access controls
- Allows mapping of corporate identities to S3 datasets
- Enables generation of shareable URLs for web apps
- Designed for non-technical users to easily access and transfer data
Transfer Family web apps offer a user-friendly interface for organizations to manage file transfers securely through web browsers.
