AWS has introduced AWS Transfer Family web apps, a new service that enables users to create fully managed, no-code web applications for file transfers and management in Amazon S3 buckets.
- Allows authenticated users to list, upload, download, copy, and delete files without desktop clients
- Uses AWS IAM Identity Center for authentication with SAML/OIDC identity providers
- Supports file transfers up to 160 GiB with HTTPS/TLS protection
- Provides customization options like page title and favicon
- Integrates with AWS ecosystem features like S3 Versioning and Event Notifications
- Available in nine AWS Regions with per web app/hour pricing
The service enables non-technical users to easily exchange file data with fine-grained access controls and security features.
