AWS has introduced Storage Browser for Amazon S3, an open-source UI component for web applications that enables end users to interact with S3 data directly:

  • Allows browsing, uploading, downloading, copying, and deleting S3 data
  • Supports three authorization modes: Amplify Auth, AWS IAM Identity Center, and IAM roles
  • Designed as a React component compatible with Next.js, Gatsby, and other React frameworks
  • Provides customizable interface to match application design
  • Supports multiple authentication methods for customers, partners, and employees

The open-source component enables secure and intuitive S3 data access without additional cost, integrating seamlessly with AWS services and providing a user-friendly storage management experience.
