- OpenLineage compatible, allowing manual lineage event augmentation
- Automates capture of schema and data transformation details
- Enables data producers to assess impact of asset changes
- Provides version tracking of lineage events for historical analysis
- Helps with troubleshooting, auditing, and data integrity validation
