New capabilities from Amazon Q Business enable ISVs to enhance generative AI experiences

AWS has announced new capabilities for Amazon Q Business that enable independent software vendors (ISVs) to enhance their generative AI experiences:
- ISVs can now integrate with the Amazon Q index to retrieve data from multiple sources using a single API
- Allows customization of the embedded Amazon Q assistant's design and branding
- Provides two customer onboarding methods: through ISV application or AWS Management Console
- Enables ISVs to access enterprise knowledge across multiple SaaS applications
- Customers maintain full control over data access and index ownership
The new features are currently available in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions, helping ISVs create more powerful and integrated AI-powered application experiences.
