Amazon AppStream 2.0 users can now save their user preferences between streaming sessions

Amazon AppStream 2.0 has introduced a new feature that allows users to save and automatically restore client preferences across streaming sessions.

  • Users can now save preferences for audio, video, regional settings, streaming mode, and macOS keyboard mappings
  • Preferences will automatically apply when reconnecting from the same client
  • Available in Windows client version 1.1.1403 and later, and all supported web browsers
  • Previously, users had to manually re-adjust settings in each session
  • Aims to provide a more consistent and efficient user experience

The update eliminates the need for repetitive configuration, making AppStream 2.0 streaming more user-friendly and personalized.
