Amazon Web Services has announced the general availability of the Amazon EC2 High Memory U7inh instance, a powerful new compute offering for intensive workloads.

  • Developed in collaboration with HPE, running on a 16-socket HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3200
  • Built on AWS Nitro System with fourth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors
  • Offers 32TB of memory and 1920 vCPUs, making it the highest performing High Memory instance
  • SAP-certified for running various HANA production environments
  • Supports 160Gbps EBS bandwidth and up to 200Gbps network bandwidth
  • Available in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions

The U7inh instance is designed for large, compute-intensive in-memory database workloads, offering exceptional performance and scalability.
