News

AWS End User Messaging has expanded self-service Sender ID registration support to 19 new countries, enhancing developers' ability to configure SMS messaging for their applications.

  • New countries include Australia, India, Egypt, Indonesia, Philippines, and others
  • Sender ID registration helps protect end-users from spam and unwanted messages
  • Mobile carriers and governments use these registrations as a "know your customer" check
  • Developers can now register Sender IDs via AWS Management Console or APIs
  • Previously, Sender ID registration required opening a support case

This expansion enables developers to more easily comply with local SMS messaging regulations and improve message deliverability across multiple countries.
