AWS has announced the general availability of the AWS Encryption SDK for Go, a client-side encryption library for developers.

  • Helps developers encrypt and decrypt data when building applications in Go
  • Part of an open-source encryption library available on GitHub
  • Follows industry standards and best practices for data encryption
  • Interoperable with other language implementations of the AWS Encryption SDK
  • Allows encrypting data in one language and decrypting in another

The SDK provides developers with a standardized, secure method for protecting sensitive data across different programming environments.
