Amazon EKS and Amazon EKS Distro now supports Kubernetes version 1.32

Amazon has announced support for Kubernetes version 1.32 in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Amazon EKS Distro.
- New clusters can now be created using Kubernetes 1.32
- Existing clusters can be upgraded via EKS console, eksctl, or infrastructure-as-code tools
- Support available in all AWS Regions, including AWS GovCloud (US) Regions
- Key improvements include stable support for custom resource field selectors
- Removes v1beta3 API version of FlowSchema and PriorityLevelConfiguration
- EKS Distro builds available through ECR Public Gallery and GitHub
Users can use EKS cluster insights to check for potential upgrade issues and review version lifecycle policies in the documentation.
