Amazon EKS and Amazon EKS Distro now supports Kubernetes version 1.34

Amazon EKS and EKS Distro now support Kubernetes version 1.34, offering several new features and improvements:
- Available in all AWS regions, including AWS GovCloud (US)
- New clusters can be created with version 1.34
- Existing clusters can be upgraded using EKS console, eksctl, or infrastructure-as-code tools
- Key improvements include:
- Projected service account tokens for kubelet image credential providers
- Pod-level resource requests and limits
- Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) prioritized alternatives
- EKS Distro builds available through ECR Public Gallery and GitHub
Cluster administrators can use EKS cluster insights to check for potential upgrade issues before migrating.
