Amazon Q Business has expanded its generative AI capabilities to now support insights and analysis from uploaded images in chat.
- Users can upload images directly to the chat interface
- AI can answer questions and extract insights from visual content
- Examples include expense categorization from invoices and technical diagram explanations
- Feature is available across all AWS Regions where Amazon Q Business is supported
- Users can access the feature through AWS Chat Service console
This enhancement enables more interactive and comprehensive information retrieval by allowing visual data to be analyzed alongside text-based queries.
