AWS Transfer Family has introduced a new feature that allows customizable directory locations for AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) files in business-to-business messaging.
- Users can now specify separate directories for inbound AS2 messages, message disposition notifications (MDN), and metadata files
- Supports Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) document transfers across industries like healthcare, retail, and logistics
- Enables easier automation of downstream processing using other AWS services
- Can directly store AS2 messages in input directories for AWS B2B Data Interchange
- Available in all AWS Regions where Transfer Family is supported
This update provides more flexibility in managing and processing B2B messaging files, simplifying integration and workflow automation.
