Amazon S3 Tables now support 10,000 tables per table bucket

Amazon has expanded the capabilities of S3 Tables, increasing the table support to 10,000 tables per table bucket.

  • Users can now scale up to 100,000 tables across 10 table buckets in a single AWS Region
  • The increased table quota is available by default at no additional cost
  • S3 Tables offer built-in Apache Iceberg support for storing tabular data at scale
  • Compatible with AWS Analytics services like Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse
  • Works with open-source engines such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink

This enhancement provides greater flexibility and scalability for customers using cloud object storage with tabular data.
