Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus collector now supports cross-account metric ingestion from Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) clusters.
- Previously, centralized observability required self-managed collection agents across accounts
- New feature enables agentless metric scraping from EKS clusters in different AWS accounts
- Eliminates the need to run, scale, and patch telemetry agents manually
- Supports ingestion into Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus workspaces with customer-managed encryption keys
- Available in all regions where Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus is supported
This update simplifies multi-account metric collection and centralized monitoring for organizations with complex cloud environments.
