Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) has expanded its access points limit from 1,000 to 10,000 per file system, a significant 10x increase that enhances scalability for customers.
- Enables easier management of application-specific access to shared datasets
- Supports seamless scaling of access management for thousands of users
- Access points enforce user identity and root directory
- Logically isolates data between applications
- New limits apply automatically to all file systems
- Available in all commercial AWS regions except China Regions
