Amazon has added Read Replica support to Timestream for InfluxDB, enabling customers to scale read operations across multiple instances and Availability Zones.
- Allows distribution of read requests across multiple database instances
- Maintains a single write endpoint
- Supports read-intensive workloads like real-time analytics and monitoring
- Available in 15 regions across the US, Asia Pacific, Canada, and Europe
- Can be created via AWS Marketplace, Management Console, CLI, SDK, and CloudFormation
The feature helps improve application performance and availability by enabling customers to scale read operations more efficiently.
