Formula 1 (F1) partnered with AWS to develop an AI-driven Root Cause Analysis (RCA) assistant using Amazon Bedrock to streamline issue resolution during race events.

  • Reduces issue resolution time from weeks to days, cutting manual intervention by up to 86%
  • Uses generative AI to troubleshoot complex technical issues within 5-10 seconds
  • Empowers engineers across different disciplines to resolve problems quickly
  • Integrates with multiple systems like CloudWatch, databases, and third-party tools
  • Provides natural language querying for system health checks and log analysis

The solution leverages Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, and Knowledge Bases to create an intelligent chat-based assistant that can automatically diagnose and recommend solutions for technical issues during race weekends.
