AWS has introduced several new enhancements to CloudTrail Lake, a managed data lake for capturing and analyzing AWS activity logs. The key updates include:

  • Enhanced event filtering options for more precise log ingestion
  • AI-powered natural language query generation
  • AI-powered query result summarization (preview)
  • Cross-account sharing of event data stores
  • New comprehensive dashboard capabilities

These features provide deeper insights, faster investigations, and more efficient monitoring across AWS environments. Highlights include the ability to filter events by attributes, ask questions in plain English, get AI-generated summaries of query results, and share event data stores securely across accounts. The update also introduces 14 pre-built dashboards and the ability to create custom dashboards with scheduled refreshes.
