News
AWS Batch has introduced resource aware scheduling, a new feature that enhances job management by tracking consumable resources (CRs).
- Supports tracking resources like license tokens, database bandwidth, and budgetary limits
- Allows creating and managing consumable resources via AWS Batch Console and new APIs
- Users can associate up to 5 consumable resources with AWS Batch jobs
- Aims to reduce job failures and wasted compute time
- Available across all AWS Batch compute environments and regions
The feature helps developers, scientists, and engineers optimize batch processing for machine learning, simulations, and analysis by intelligently managing limited resources.
