AWS has announced general availability of Amazon Q Business integrations for Microsoft 365 Word and Outlook, enabling generative AI features directly within business productivity tools.
- Word integration allows users to:
- Draft content
- Enhance writing quality
- Analyze documents
- Transform text with AI-powered tools
- Outlook integration enables users to:
- Summarize email threads
- Identify action items
- Get draft composition assistance
- Adjust email message tone
- Integrations are quick to set up and deploy
- Available for Q Business customers using AWS IAM Identity Center
The new features aim to improve productivity by bringing generative AI capabilities directly into familiar work environments.
