AWS has announced the availability of Step Functions Workflow Studio in the Visual Studio Code IDE, providing developers with a visual tool for creating and managing state machine workflows.
- Enables visual creation, editing, and debugging of workflows directly in VS Code
- Supports orchestration of over 14,000 API actions from 220 AWS services
- Generates workflow definitions automatically while composing on a canvas
- Compatible with infrastructure as code tools
- Allows debugging workflow steps using TestState API within the IDE
Developers can get started by downloading or updating the AWS Toolkit for VS Code, with the option to submit feedback through the open-source GitHub repository.
