Sharing of Connections is now available in AWS CodeConnections

News

AWS CodeConnections has introduced a new feature allowing secure sharing of Connection resources across AWS accounts and within AWS Organizations.

  • Previously, separate AWS connector Apps were required for each account
  • Now uses AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM) to share Connections
  • Enables creating a single Connection and sharing it across multiple accounts
  • Reduces operational overhead for multi-account deployments
  • Supports fine-grained access control using IAM policies

This update simplifies source provider connection management by allowing centralized Connection sharing and reducing redundant setup processes.
