Application Load Balancer announces integration with Amazon VPC IPAM

AWS Application Load Balancer (ALB) now supports integration with Amazon VPC IP Address Manager (IPAM), offering new IP address assignment capabilities for load balancer nodes.
- Customers can provide custom public IPv4 address pools for load balancer IP assignment
- Supports both Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) and Amazon-provided contiguous IPv4 blocks
- Enables cost optimization through flexible IP address management
- Automatically switches to AWS managed IP addresses when public IPAM pool is depleted
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions and AWS GovCloud (US)
This feature simplifies enterprise IP management, improves cost efficiency, and ensures high availability during scaling events.
